TESTING
Water Providers are required to insure a safe public water supply. Part of that requirement is to require backflow assemblies to protect the public water supply. These assemblies require yearly or semiannually testing by a licensed backflow tester. Once the test is completed the tester is required to fill out a test and maintenance report and pay the documentation fee to the water supplier.

REPAIR
Backflow assemblies can fail at any time. Often it is a freeze event or debris in the assembly that causes it to fail. Other times the parts inside can wear out. During the course of the test if the backflow assembly fails the owner will be notified and an estimate will be provided. The backflow tester is required to leave the system in the off position until the backflow assembly can be fully repaired or replaced.

INSTALLATION
On occasion the backflow assembly is too worn out or is damaged beyond repair. In this case a licensed irrigator is required to install a backflow assembly and then a licensed backflow tester is required to test it and file the test and maintenance report. Contact us for a quote to do this work. Since I have both licenses it can be done faster and for less.

One time test to determine if the assembly passes or fails. If the assembly fails than an estimate will be provided and another test will be required.
Irrigation Check-up
Turn on system and inspect each zone and sprinkler head to determine if there are any issues. Insure controller is set properly. Provide written report if something needs correcting.
Landscape Consultation
Visually inspect all trees, plants and lawn for pest, disease or nutrient issues. Recommend cultural practices to get your landscape in top condition. Suggest plant selections to replace dead or dying plants or trees.
